PARTICIPATION

Authors, writers, poets, publishers, librarians, booksellers-- we still have a couple of open spots for panels and the like and hope you'll join us.  If you are interested in sitting on a panel, moderating a panel, leading a short workshop or participating on any other way in Pilcrow Lit Fest just send us an email and tell us a bit about your work and how you'd like to participate and we'll get the details in order. Of course, you're welcome to just attend, too. Fine by us.

On Saturday, May 24th, the evening's festivities will benefit New Orleans Public Libraries rebuilding campaign. To help raise as much as we can for them, we've asked authors and publishers to disassemble a copy of their own work and turn it into a piece of art to be auctioned that evening. For more information about Rebuilt Books, please
shoot us an email.

VOLUNTEERS

Here's an easy one. You want to volunteer, we still need volunteers. Fabulous. So, shoot us an email and tell us a bit about how you'd like to help and we'll take care of the rest.

DONATIONS & MERCHANT PARTICIPATION

If you are a merchant or vendor of some sort and you would like to chat about product placement, say in the participant goodie bags for example, or if you would like to discuss sponsorship opportunities, then email Amy Guth about the wares you peddle and she'll set everything up.

(UPDATED) ADMISSION INFO

Events at Pilcrow are free and open to the public. Of course, feel free to add a few bucks to the tipjars bearing Pilcrow logos you will undoubtedly see throughout the festival. Please support participating authors by purchasing their books on Saturday, May 24th at The Book Cellar's table located in the Fixx Coffee Bar.

Please note that the opening night reception at Matilda's/baby ATLAS takes place in a bar and therefore persons under the legal age cannot be admitted under law. (Hey we don't make the rules, we just follow them.)

For the
fundraiser reception benefiting the rebuilding of New Orleans Public Libraries featuring a silent auction for "Rebuilt Books" on Saturday May 24th, there is a suggested donation of $20 at the door, all of which goes directly to the New Orleans Public Libraries. Please note that while this event is all-ages, identification is required at the door.

TRAVEL TO PILCROW LIT FEST

If you will be traveling to the area for the festival, know that the entire festival centers near the intersection of Belmont & Sheffield in the Lakeview neighborhood, and red, brown and purple train lines serve this area only a few blocks away.  Parking is notoriously difficult in this area, but it is theoretically possible if you don't mind walking a few blocks or using a pay lot.

If you need help finding a hotel, please contact us and we'll point you to the handful of hotels nearby.
